The coaching and leadership training I received from Lisa was transformative. The initial leadership assessment was the most valuable set of feedback I have received. It provided a meaningful starting point for identifying leadership strengths, areas for growth, and some blind spots. Through individual coaching I was able to breakthrough specific areas that were holding me back. In the past I have dreaded feedback, but I now see it as an opportunity for valuable conversation and growth. In addition to being much more open to feedback, I’m aware of my strengths and personal saboteurs. I feel empowered by new ability to navigate situations with powerful questions, and have crucial conversations. I am thankful for the awareness and growth provided by Lisa. This was an invaluable experience for me and I would recommended it to anyone and everyone.

Why work with a Leadership Coach?

Research demonstrates that traditional development methods are inadequate to help leaders achieve and sustain their potential. Working one-on-one with a trained coach who has an outside perspective will help you identify your individual strengths and seize new opportunities. Training and conferences are important, but it’s rare that these one-off events create real, lasting change for leaders or the business.

Our coaching partnership is designed to support you in developing the awareness and skills to inspire others, coach and lead teams, and build the career (and life) you want. Our work together is focused on changing and creating new behaviors that will help you reach your goals, navigate conflicts and challenges, and gain influence. Learn more about coaching here.

I’ve had the chance to work with Lisa over the past year and have been inspired by her, coaching, and myself! Having a coach that can listen, probe and inspire has been so helpful in turning my thoughts into actions that have made a real difference. It covered how I interact with my team, colleagues and even the organization... If you ever get the chance to work with Lisa, don’t pass it up.

But is coaching right for me?

A common misconception is that coaching is just for executives or under-performers. Coaching is designed to support a variety of high-potential leaders, including executives, senior managers, and other key employees. Coaching achieves results in three areas:

  • Individual effectiveness and confidence

  • Team performance and psychological safety

  • Business results and outcomes

By using a coach as a sounding board and applying what you’re learning on the job, you’ll be able to unlock your own potential and the potential of those around you.

If you’re thinking, “I’m not sure I’m a leader,” or “I’m just an individual contributor,” coaching can be especially rewarding for you. We’ll look at what leadership means and how you can have a meaningful impact in your current role.

How it works

WillowTree is supporting you to use your professional development budget for coaching. Here’s how we’ll get started:

  1. Sign up for your coaching package (or if you have additional questions, feel free to set up a short call with me to discuss or shoot me an email).

  2. I’ll bill WillowTree directly, so you don’t have to worry about reimbursement. While WillowTree will know that we’re working together, the content of our calls is confidential.

  3. Within 48 hours, you’ll receive your onboarding materials and a link to set up your first foundation session.

  4. Our first session will be focused on establishing the goals for the coaching, designing the coaching relationship, and moving you forward.

  5. Subsequent sessions will take place approximately every 2 weeks, and our time will be focused on enhancing awareness, considering options for change, and creating action plans aligned with your individual development plan and goals. Sessions can take place by phone or video conference.

  6. Between sessions, I’ll hold you accountable for executing the action plan, and each session, we’ll debrief the learning to create lasting behavioral change.
